Desirea Binning is passionate about helping Saskatchewan (Canada) educators create supportive, play-based classrooms where all students can thrive. She brings extensive experience as a special education teacher, program designer, post secondary instructor, and consultant, blending research-based strategies with real-world understanding.

Holding a Bachelor of Education, Post-Graduate Certificate in Special Education, and a Master’s in Educational Psychology and Special Education, Desirea’s work is rooted in both theory and practice. She is the Program Designer for the Tisdale and Area Early Years Family Resource Centre, founder of Regulate and Thrive Consulting, and author of the children’s book You Are NOT Your Meltdown.

As a parent of two neurodiverse children, Desirea brings lived experience to her work, alongside her professional expertise. This unique perspective allows her to offer practical, compassionate P-BLOT coaching that helps Saskatchewan educators build strong playbased practices and create inclusive learning environments where every child can succeed.
